lowkey want to lie down the ground and let the song "dil jalaane ki baat" by ali sethi submerge. go and listen to it if you haven't already.

i sent this photo to my girlfriend and she asked me if it was taken from the dining table area in my home. i replied yes, it was. and she said you can call it "from the dining table" in honour of a harry styles song we both love. so there you go, another song recommendation for you.

i'd just woken from a heavy afternoon slumber. i get out of my room to make some coffee, and this is what i see. an ordinary evening of extraordinary beauty. in times like these, this is all that we have- beauty in the tiniest things. constructing our own notion of beauty, if you will. it's the raw emotions that pass through you without any conscious effort. love, and all its attendant necessities of feelings. vulnerability, sensitivity and patience. virtues that have to be cultivated, for the rawness to survive. and that's how we can survive. or at least i can. no wonder the corporate life never appealed to me. sigh.
